Dec 20: Somatic Reset by Candle Light
Tension Release & Deep Rest for the Dark of the Year
Saturday, December 20 | 4–6 PM | St. Paul Yoga Center | 1162 Selby Avenue, St Paul.
As the deep dark of winter gathers around us, we are invited into a rare kind of stillness, one that restores the nervous system, clears inner space, and gently reorients us toward our inner Light, the Source within, the inner temple of stillness and healing.
Join me for a Somatic Reset by Candlelight, a slow, calming, inwardly focused practice designed to melt tension, soothe the mind, and leave you feeling replenished at every level.
What to Expect
• Soma Yoga for deep release
Gentle somatic movements unwind layers of held stress and physical contraction, inviting the body into softness and ease.
• Gentle Pranayama for grounding in Presence
Center your awareness in the body, quiet mental chatter, and create spaciousness through simple, steady breath practices.
• Yoga Nidra by candlelight
A soothing, guided rest to rejuvenate the body, clear the mind, and reset your inner vision for the closing of this year and the dawning of the next.
This quiet, nurturing practice offers a spacious winter pause; a chance to return to the innermost sanctuary where healing, clarity, and renewal naturally arise.
What to Bring
The studio provides mats and blankets, and you are welcome to bring your own.
Dress in warm layers for comfort.
Eye pillows are lovely for deep rest; bring your own or borrow on at the studio.
Note: Please arrive 10 minutes early so we can begin in unhurried silence.
Give the Gift of Peace
You may purchase an additional pass for just $28 to give as a holiday gift for someone you appreciate; choose “both dates” when you purchase.
The gift pass is valid for the January 3rd class in the new year. I will provide an electronic gift card you can print.
