March 22: Heal What Hurts Practice
Clearing the Body of Tension & Emotional Contraction
Your inner beliefs about what you are worthy of will always be mirrored in your outer life.
Let’s gently release the beliefs and contractions that hold you back.
Sunday, March 22, 2026
4:30–6:30 PM
St. Paul Yoga Center
1162 Dunlap Street, St. Paul (corner studio)
Heal What Hurts Practice is a deeply embodied class devoted to clearing the body of accumulated tension and emotional contraction.
This class is for Heal What Hurts practitioners — those who have read the book, completed a course, or are familiar with the HWH process — and it is also fully open to those who are completely new to somatic work.
Whether you already know the language of inner knots and the “three outs,” or you are just beginning to explore body-based healing, you are welcome here.
We move gently.
We move respectfully.
We move at the pace of the nervous system.
When we are triggered, something tightens first in the body. The stomach hardens. The chest constricts. The throat closes. Over time, these unprocessed moments become stored as contracted energy — shaping how we relate, protect, and respond.
In this practice, we work directly with those inner contractions through:
Somatic floor-based release practices
Pranayama and conscious breathwork
Guided self-inquiry to understand what is truly happening beneath the reaction
Grounded meditation for emotional integration
You will learn to respond from a place of grounded honesty and inner emotional support rather than from reactivity, shame, or self-criticism.
This is not about pushing.
It is not about catharsis.
It is about softening.
You will leave feeling clearer in your body, steadier in your heart, and more aligned with your authentic worth.
Please dress in comfortable layers. The studio provides mats, blankets, and props. You are welcome to bring your own if preferred.
Come ready to breathe, feel, and gently clear what no longer serves you.
