Heal What Hurts
A gentle, embodied path for healing emotional triggers through presence, breath, and the body
Heal What Hurts Mini Guide
A Somatic & Divine Light Release Practice
Welcome. This space was created to help you soften what hurts, return to your body, and feel supported from the inside out. Heal What Hurts is a somatic and spiritual release process that welcomes emotion, sensation, and memory with compassion. Instead of pushing pain away, this practice gently guides it into movement, breath, understanding, and light.
About Maria
Maria is a somatic and spiritual healing guide who supports people in releasing emotional pain through compassion, presence, and body-based wisdom. Her work integrates nervous system grounding, somatic sensing, and divine light practices — bringing people back into connection with what is true, peaceful, and alive within them.
There are moments when something inside us tightens — a sudden wave of emotion, a familiar reaction, a sense of contraction we cannot think our way out of.
Heal What Hurts is a somatic and spiritual healing pathway for meeting those moments differently.
Not by fixing yourself.
Not by analyzing the past.
Not by overriding what you feel.
But by learning how to stay present with what hurts — in the body — long enough for it to soften, release, and transform.
Begin With a Gentle Practice
Below is a short Heal What Hurts guided practice to help you experience this work directly.
This is not about doing it "right."
It is about listening.

Heal What Hurts Practice
Step 1: Find a Comfortable Position
Sit or lie down in a way that feels supportive. Allow your body to settle. There is no need to force anything.Step 2: Notice Your Breath
Without changing it, simply notice the natural rhythm of your breathing. Feel the rise and fall. The pause between breaths.Step 3: Bring Awareness to Sensation
Gently scan your body. Notice where you feel tension, tightness, or discomfort. You don't need to fix it. Just notice.Step 4: Stay With What You Feel
If a sensation arises, stay with it. Breathe into it. Allow it to be exactly as it is. This is the practice of presence.Step 5: Offer Kindness
Place a hand on your heart or belly. Silently offer yourself kindness. "I am here. I am listening. I am with you."Step 6: Close Gently
When you are ready, take a deep breath. Wiggle your fingers and toes. Return to the room with gentleness.
Gentle Inquiry
After the practice, you may wish to sit quietly with one or two of these questions. There is no need to answer them perfectly or completely.
What sensations did I notice in my body?
Was there a place that wanted kindness or patience?
Where did I feel softness, and where did I feel resistance?
What happens when I stay with sensation rather than story?
What feels ready to soften, even a little?
Take your time. There is no rush. Let the questions sit with you gently.
HOW HEAL WHAT HURTS WORKS
Heal What Hurts works through presence, sensation, and spiritual energy. The body speaks in feeling. Emotional pain shifts through honesty and softness — not force. This process guides that shift gently and safely.
• Somatic sensing
• Nervous system grounding
• Spiritual light awareness
• Emotional release
What More Is Possible When You Heal Your Triggers
Emotional triggers are not flaws — they are signals.
When you learn how to meet them in the body, rather than react to them, deep change becomes possible.
In the short video below, I share how Heal What Hurts work unfolds over time, and how you can continue this healing in a more supported and structured way.
