❤️ In The Heal What Hurts Process, we learn to be in the creative channel as a way in. Heart & Art Sessions are not about creating an interesting, beautiful piece. It is all about tuning in, listening to your body, and allowing tightly held tension to release onto paper. To use loving gestures to bring light and healing into the contracted pain. It is downright miraculous what becomes visible and how much release and relief can be found by sitting in a group together. Gently releasing and nurturing something that feels stuck inside.
That being said, every piece birthed by students in a Heart & Art session has blown me away. It is incredible powerful, radiant, raw, and honest.
Therapeutic artistic expression with meditation and breathwork.
Tension in the body is often caused by unconscious fear that has taken root; when we access and release the stress, we make room for new experiences to enter our lives. This workshop will help you release the burden of fear and tension and deepen the inherent connection to the authentic Spirit voice that we all carry within.
Calm your body and mind.
Through breathwork and guided meditation, you will become centered and grounded. From this place of inner calm, you will be guided through artistic exercises that will calm the intellect and give you access to your Spirit’s wisdom.
The artistic process in this workshop is not about producing an object; it's about accessing parts of ourselves that operate in the unconscious and need to be brought to light. You will be amazed at how the energy field of your body speaks to you through art once you clear the space to hear it.
This workshop is a pause, a deep breath, a long sigh, and an invitation for your Spirit, your authentic voice, to come through and move you.
The practices taught in this workshop will take you to the next level whether you have never done breathwork and art before or are a professional yoga teacher -- and anything in between.
No prior experience with art is needed
It's for you if you are a professional artist or if you haven't touched a crayon since you were eight years old.
I am always so inspired by these painting and sharing session. Both from internal perspective gained as well as hearing the feelings and thoughts from others about their creations - awesome how we all are naturally talented artists in the moment.
